The Water Challenge team attended on different occasions to install and set off the pilot plant in the port of Huelva.
For each occasion, meetings with the authorities of the Port and technical staff took place for planning the coordination activities of installation and setup of the ASEC module.
The ASEC plant was commissioned to the port of Huelva on May 2024.

In this opportunity, a meeting with the Authorities of the port to concrete details for the next steps, and a field visit to the potential emplacement of the pilot plant in the port of Huelva had place.
Participation of Water Challenge in the II Jornadas de Sostenibilidad Ambiental y Gestión Portuaria (II Environmental Sustainability and Port Management Conferences) celebrated in Huelva during 27 and 28th of September 2023.
The CEO presented the ASEC project in the framework of the EIC Accelerator program, objectives, current advances, and expected results. But also, the CEO Susana García participated in a round table discussing about dredged materials, sustainability and the role of the enterprises in the environmentally sustainable management.
